LONDON, 6 March – Mission, a global MGA incubator, has appointed Abz Shipon and James Gallagher as Account Directors, Courtenay Davison as Head of Technology Delivery, and Rayhanah Russell as Programme Manager, strengthening its UK and European team in support of Mission’s growth strategy.

At Mission, MGAs are built to thrive, backed by a powerful ecosystem spanning underwriting, operations, data, compliance, capacity and distribution. Ross Dingwall, CEO of Mission in the UK and Europe, said: “We have started 2026 with real momentum, and these appointments strengthen the roles at the centre of how Mission operates. Abz and James will work alongside our MGAs to turn growth plans into performance by connecting strategy, delivery and governance across the platform. Courtenay will enhance our technology leadership, strengthening how we execute complex programmes across the UK and Europe to support both new launches and existing ventures. Rayhanah will bring clear portfolio oversight as we scale, ensuring initiatives remain prioritised, coordinated and aligned to strategic objectives.”

In his new role, he will strengthen client relationships, shape growth opportunities, support new MGA launches and integrate new ventures into the Mission platform.

James Gallagher, Account Director

Gallagher joins Mission from Tysers, where he was a Project Manager, following nine years at Hiscox in roles spanning project management, leadership and service improvement. At Mission, he will work alongside MGA partners to drive performance, support launches and ensure discipline across the full breadth of Mission’s capabilities.

Courtenay Davison, Head of Technology Delivery

Davison joins Mission with extensive technology leadership experience across insurance and financial services, bringing a strong track record in programme execution, team leadership and operational discipline. He has led complex, multi-stream initiatives spanning platform transformation, operational improvement and stakeholder management across UK and international teams. In his new role, he will strengthen Mission’s technology capability across the UK and Europe, supporting new MGA launches and accelerating platform capability for existing ventures.

Rayhanah Russell, Portfolio and Programme Manager

Russell joins Mission from Tokio Marine Group, where she led major underwriting and operational transformation programmes across technology, data and platform delivery. She brings deep programme governance and stakeholder leadership experience, supporting complex change across UK and international teams.
